Description

Prerequisite(s): BIO 1210; HIT 1100; HIT 1200 all with a grade of C or better.
This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to accurately code outpatient medical procedures and explores the intricacies of CPT coding. Completion of this course will ensure proficiency in the coding of a wide range of outpatient services. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of CPT guidelines, conventions, and modifiers, enabling them to navigate the complexities of outpatient procedure coding. Credit(s): 3
