Description
Prerequisite(s): BIO 3920/BIO 3930. Co-requisite(s): FS 4510.
The course will introduce students to presumptive and confirmatory tests for the presence of body fluids in forensic samples, including learning about identification of body fluids by microscopy, spectroscopy, testing for cell-type-specific enzymatic activity, immunochromatography, testing for the presence of cell-type-specific RNA, and testing for cell-type-specific DNA methylation.
