Description

Prerequisite(s): CS 1300.
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of database systems, including data modeling, relational database design, SQL querying, and database implementation. Students learn how to design normalized databases, develop queries, and understand core topics such as transactions, indexing, and data integrity. Hands-on exercises reinforce theory through practical database development using industry-standard tools. Credit(s): 3
