Description
Prerequisite(s): HIT 2000 with a grade of C or higher.
A continuation of Health Data Management I that examines the application of technology in the capture, delivery, and analysis of healthcare data across the continuum of care. Students will engage in applied health informatics activities, including data management, statistical data analysis, and standardizing data structure within an electronic health record. The impact of these activities on maintaining data integrity and supporting process improvement will be emphasized. Credit(s): 3
