Prerequisite(s): HIM 3400; HIM 3600; HIM 4000; HIM 4100; HIM 4200; HIM 4400; HIM 4600 all with a grade of C of better; Instructor approval. All HIM coursework except HIM 4800 should be taken prior to this course. Register for HIM 4950 four (4) months in advance of session date.
The Professional Practice Experience encompasses the internship or affiliation students undertake at Health Information-related sites to experience real-world application of their professional preparation. Credit(s): 3
