Description
Prerequisites: HIT2200 with a grade of C or higher.
This course analyzes and reviews the U.S. Judicial System, case studies on legal procedures to obtain health information, hospital, medical staff and other professional liability. It reviews health information as evidence, consent for treatment, privacy and confidentiality, retention and release of medical information and the health record as a legal document.
