This course covers topics required to implement, manage or assess the appropriate security and privacy controls of a healthcare organization. This course is intended to provide students with knowledge needed to manage security of health care data, ensure compliance and perform risk analysis of an organization. Students will be able to identify and describe various legal and regulatory requirements for healthcare information, also describe, various security and privacy concepts in relation to healthcare and perform risk analysis of an organization.
