Description

Prerequisite(s): CS 5400.
This course teaches students to cleanse the data and make it usable for machine learning algorithms. Students will learn to evaluate different machine-learning algorithms and use the best algorithm for a given problem. Machine learning is used to extract features from data automatically and use those features to provide prediction solutions such as medical diagnosis, object recognition, speech recognition, and robot control to name a few. This course introduces students to supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. Credit(s): 3
