Description

Prerequisites: BA2460.
This course takes students beyond exploring entrepreneurship and developing business plans. The focus of the course is on the entrepreneurial enterprise, i.e., on those enterprises that are established with one of their goals being the attainment of substantial growth (in sales, market share, or some other important measure). The processes by which organizations grow will be examined, as will problems encountered during growth and the common approaches to dealing with these problems. Students will systematically explore growth opportunities for existing businesses using entrepreneurial frameworks to create plan for pursuing a high-potential venture.
